Stop the Hate ---140

This week, we will be touching on a recent topic. While this topic isn’t related to our industry, it is important to us as a small business as well as a company composed of many Asian Americans. As many of you may have seen in recent news, there have been a rising number of attacks in the Asian American community, so much so that there have been a few people who have died or have been permanently scarred by these attacks. As mentioned before, we are a small company where many of our employees are of Asian descent and these attacks have been on the mind of everyone here at Linkstyle, so I feel like now would be a good time to discuss this topic. Being a startup company, we had to go through a lot of hurdles to be where we are today, but while we are proud of being able to have a start up here in America, we are all also proud of our Asian roots as well. While many in our company immigrated to the US from Asian countries, we are all also American citizens. The recent attacks have affected all of us here, especially those that have been happening in the Bay Area, where many recent attacks have been happening in areas that are mostly populated by Asian Americans. We here at Linkstyle do not condone these attacks on the Asian American community, especially on those who are old and ederly that can not defend themselves. We at Linkstyle believe that everyone should be treated equally and fairly, regardless of the color of their skin, religion, or nationality. We believe that there should be compassion to everyone and that those who do not show compassion to others, especially during these tough and difficult times are those we do not wish to be associated with. We also believe that this country will climb out of this hate as we have seen, not everyone agrees with these acts. We will need to stand united against this hate and continue to be the better person. Our hearts go out to the families and relatives of those who have suffered from these attacks and we here at Linkstyle would like for you all to stay safe.
