Waiting in line is the worst feeling in the world. Why can’t more stores have self-checkout? I am starting to believe that cashiers are becoming more and more useless as we develop more secure checkout methods. One time I was shopping at a local grocery store on a Saturday morning. Let me tell you guys something, Saturday morning is probably the worst time to be shopping for groceries because everyone and their mothers are out shopping for the same exact thing. If I were you, I would plan shopping trips for Thursday evening. No one does anything on Thursdays either, it is an awkward day of the week. Anyways, back on topic, waiting in line is a very inefficient way of spending your time. As we all know, you can’t get back the time that you wasted.

I believe that self-checkout is the greatest thing that was ever created. One of my biggest pet peeves is letting the cashiers see what I bought. I know how judgmental they can be, because if they see me buying soda, chips, and cookies, they will mentally be thinking about my health, but actually, they don’t know anything about me. It can be quite invasive because I can also read minds. I wish I didn’t have this power but it’s just the way it is. I think that one of the most important things to take into consideration is privacy. It is important for the customer to have their privacy.
