INNOVATION ---100

During this time of turmoil, most stores are finding new ways to keep their business open. With the current state regulations, it’s hard to keep shoppers safe and at the same time, give them the excellent service that once was.

Over the weekend, I went to my local store to purchase some essentials. I chose the wrong time to go because it looks like the weekend is the perfect day to shop for things. There was a new regulation in place that only allows a certain number of shoppers in the building. We had to wait about 30 minutes before we could get in the store. In tangent with the 6 feet distance rule, it did feel mildly annoying. However, I understand that stores are required to do this to keep everyone safe. Without these new innovations, it would be a hazard to shop with peace of mind. Yes, there will be more time wasted for extra precaution, but it is the best we can do.

If stores can come up with more innovations, I think the economy will be able to operate at a comfortable level of efficiency without causing a risk to the general public. This may be the reason why online shopping has become so popular, there is no human contact when it comes to shopping.
